• Why Secure e-Mail

Minnesota Rural Health Cooperative has chosen to utilize secure e-Mail to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Standard e-Mail does not provide the security needed to verify that records remain confidential.

• How Secure e-Mail Works

When you utilize secure e-Mail, the message is delived to a secure data center whiere it is held until the time it is retrieved.

• Create Your Account

The first time you utilize Secure e-Mail, you will need to create an account. You only need an e-mail address to create your new Secure e-Mail account.

• Retrieving Secure e-Mail

When we, at Minnesota Rural Health Cooperative, send you a Secure e-Mail message, you will receive a notification via standard e-Mail. Click the link included and you will be taken to pick up your message. Once logged in, you can read your Secure e-Mail.

• Sending Secure e-Mail

To send a Secure e-Mail, click the Login button on the left. This will bring you to a Secure e-Mail session allowing you to send Secure e-Mail.
