HEAR FROM OTHERS

"The MRHC has improved the level of healthcare significantly for rural Minnesota. The MRHC also seeks to improve the quality of care and the level of access by providing services that monitor and improve the quality in patient care, centralizing credentialing services that increase efficiency for both health plans and health care providers, and offering group purchasing opportunities and projects that save its members scarce financial resources."

Representatives Collin C. Peterson and Timothy Walz

We've been a member of the Minnesota Rural Health Cooperative since we opened our doors in 1999. The Co-op staff has been enormously helpful with practical issues, from contracting with payers and network participation issues to patient satisfaction surveys and other rural health topics. We've also found the information presented at the annual meeting and occasional workshops applicable to our everyday practice. And since we're a small independent clinic, we've enjoyed the camaraderie with other similar members.

Olivia Hospital & Clinic has been a member of Minnesota Rural Health Cooperative since 1995, which is the year the Cooperative was formed.

MRHC offers a variety of services and resources that we have found to be extremely beneficial to our staff, from health plan contracting to provider credentialing to patient satisfaction surveys.

The staff of MRHC are always looking for resources, products and programs that will provide assistance to health care facilities and providers offering services in rural communities. They are truly an advocate for rural healthcare!

I have also served on the Board of Directors for a number of years and have thoroughly enjoyed serving in this capacity.
